Research Associate Position in School of Biomedicine at The University of Manchester


Scholarships Requirements Candidates should have a PhD in endocrinology, molecular biology, physiology or a related discipline and will be useful to have knowledge about the hypothalamic regulatory system involved in energy homeostasis or physiological control of stress axis.
A background study on peptide / isolation and characterization of steroid (preferably mass spectrometry) is very important, such as technical expertise in molecular biology and cell culture. A strong publication record in relevant areas and good communication skills desired.

This Scholarships Requirements project will use metabolomic approach to study the hormone route changed in obesity and metabolic syndrome. Using a rat model of obesity we aim to understand the interaction between obesity and stress axis. http://www.callforpapersinfo.com
